Pro Stock is just that. It is the best possible wood fiber imaginable; the wood that the professional player will use. Just because I pay a premium for raw material does not mean that it is guaranteed to be Pro Stock. I have added many additional steps in the procedure to assure the billet will make this grade. From making sure that there will be no pin-knots in the “throat” or handle of the bat (…they're nice to have in the barrel), to mounting the billet onto the lathe using a dual laser system to assure true alignment with the two axes of wood grain to a final check at completion that its actual
sweet-spot is within minute tolerances to the calculated sweet spot location, these are just a few of the quality checks a Pro Stock bat must meet. When you buy a Pro Stock bat from CBC, it will be a bat that I pledge would work in professional baseball.

Only 4 out of 100 billets will make it as Pro Stock.

This bat is best suited for the experienced player who swings wood.
